Syria Terrorist Blasts Kill Civilians, Police

Two terrorist attacks rocked the Syrian capital on Saturday, killing several civilians and police.damascus blast

"Two terrorist bombings struck Damascus this morning," State television said, adding that preliminary reports suggested the attacks were car bombs.

The first blast targeted the criminal police headquarters in the Duwar al-Jamarek area, while the second hit an office of Syria's intelligence services on Baghdad Boulevard in Al-Qasaa district.

The television broadcast horrible pictures of the explosions, with blood stains and body parts being fallen and scattered on the road.

One of the pictures showed a charred body inside the mangled remains of a smoking vehicle in Duwar al-Jamarek.

Other images showed a bus splattered with blood and more blood stains on the road, while ambulances could be seen in the background.

Syrian cities have been targets of many terrorist attacks, with dozens of civilians and security forces have been killed.
